Yantras are used to worship deities in temples or at home, as a meditation aid, and for the claimed occult properties they are said to have based on Hindu astrology and tantric scriptures. They're often employed to decorate temple floors, owing to their symmetrical and attractive properties.
There are four different sorts of Yantras.
